PIP public was conceived for secretaries, directors or company owners to overview the employees’ presence. PIP public does not permit operations.
To see PIP public in a simple mode, you need to have the permission View PIP public. Go to View PIP:

To see PIP public in a detailed mode, you need to have the permission View PIP public and a setting in Setting - Preferences - User interface PIP view mode - Detailed mode. Go to View PIP:

To view presence details in PIP public, you need the permissions View PIP public and View PIP details. This way you can see the daily presence situation of a person accessing the Daily View.
