File terminal is used to export in bookings from other terminals not supported by Astrow and export results. This tab is only available with an additional license for File terminal. The option Booking input is used to read from a booking file with a different layout than used by Astrow. The option Message output is used to write the results to a text file and to display these results, for instance on a non-Amano terminal.
