General Settings for Data Collection
Step 1: First you need to decide if the approval of a manager for data collection entries is necessary. This can be done by putting the parameter Enable data collection authorization on YES in System - Settings - tab System config. If authorization is not required, go straight to Step 3.

Step 2: If the data collection entries from the terminal require authorization from a manager, you must make sure the group of employees that will use data collection is set also as Data collection request group. This is done in Configuration - Groups - tab Employees - New/Edit mode.

Step 3: Go to Configuration - Counter Definition and add the counters to be used with data collection. You can use only counters type Count (C Counters).

Make sure you have checked Daily Overview and Use in reports checkboxes.
