The calculation compares the daily and weekly overtime. The weekly performed hours are compared with the weekly basis (Reg. max.). If this basis is exceeded, the hours are saved in the weekly overtime group (set in the pay group). On the basis of this comparison, the number of overtime hours to be recovered and paid will be automatically calculated (always takes the bigger one of the two).
If authorization is required for overtime calculation, Astrow will only fill the overtime counters after this authorization.

In the overtime group, you need to define the overtime rule and add to regular. You can also check if the overtime needs authorization. Please make sure you won’t link the same counters used by Daily OT to overtime group definition because the calculation will double those:

The counters used should be defined first in Configuration - Counter Operations then linked to a definition Counter Definition. This calculation uses the counters definitions Weekly LT (A-C) for lost hours and Weekly and Daily OT (A-E) for overtime.
Use the Weekly LT (weekly lost) definitions to link each type of lacking hours to one or more time items.

This type of calculation also uses some special counters from Counter Definiton:
SW Normalized absence hours: Use this counter to link it with absences not included in weekly bonus, like holiday, medical, authorized etc. Do not link it to absences you want to include for the weekly bonus, like business trip etc.

SW Weekly Bonus = WOT(A+B+…+E) – SW Normalized Abs. Hours. At the end of the period, this counter will calculate all weekly overtime minus the absences counted as normal.
SW Recup = maximum (Daily OT(A+B+…+E), Weekly OT). This counter will compare the sum of all overtime on each day to the one at the end of the week and will take the maximum between them. This counter can be used later on to an absence etc.
SW OT = maximum (Daily OT(A+B+…+E), SW Weekly Bonus) This counter will compare the sum of all overtime on each day to SW Weekly Bonus and will take the maximum between them. This counter can also be used later and linked to other absences or definitions.

Please note you need to define ALL the counters related to Split Weekly overtime (SW Weekly Bonus, SW Normalized absentee hours and SW Recup) in Counter Operation in order for the calculations to work!
