Past max. days for self booking: The parameter refers to the number of past calendar days for which a trusted user can add/edit bookings from his timecard; if the parameter is set 0, adding/editing self bookings from timecard will be set for current day. The limit is 30.
Future max. days for self booking: The parameter refers to the number of future calendar days for which a trusted user can add/edit bookings from his timecard; if the parameter is set 0, adding/editing self bookings from timecard will be set for current day. The limit is 30.
HR email: The email address to be used automatically when sending the communication status (see Communicate Status).
Automatically select default CC on booking edit: If YES the CC code will be seen by default in virtual terminal when booking. If NO, the CC code must be selected before booking with CC (see Add Booking in VT).
 
Change the following parameters explained only if you use a password policy.
 
For detailed explanations about password policy, see Password Policy.
 
Use password policy: If Yes, using the application will apply the password policy. If No, the application will not apply any password policies.
Password expires after X days (0 means never): Here you can set the number of days a password will expire after creation if you use password policy. Keep the default 0 if you don't.
Max. number of passwords keep in history: Set here the number of passwords to keep in history in case you use a password policy. If this parameter is set, you are not allowed to use any of the last x passwords kept in history when changing your password in accordance with the policy.
Minimum password strength: The parameter refers to the password strength. If set to Weak, the policy will accept a password with at least 6 digits or letters. If Good, the password should contain at least 7 different letters/digits, 1 special character and 1 capital letter. If Strong, the password must contain at least 9 different letters/digits and a combination of 4 different special characters and capital letters.
Use FTE: If this option is checked, a new field will be available in the Employees (see Employees). This field is only used for the Norwegian link FTE. With a special license (Illness Control) the option will also activate new settings used for generating illness reports in Astrow Web, designed for Norway market.
Show all Cost Centers in VT: Used with option Use cost centers activated; if YES, the option enables all cost centers defined to be used with virtual terminal. If NO, you cannot see Daily default types CCs (see Cost Center Codes for more details), you can see them in VT only if assigned in Employee definition (see Set Cost Group).
Key absence: This control option can be activated if you want to use MC codes (input to the terminal by the employee or by the supervisor in the daily overview screen) to authorize an absence of several days. The relevant choices needed to program this function will be activated in the MC definition module.
Use cost centers: If you activate this key, you will be able to work with cost centers. These are used to register the time each employee spends on a particular job.
Enable Suite legacy reports: This will activate old Astrow Suite reports.
Future months calculations: Here you can set the number of future months Astrow will make calculations based on the Standard start/end set in day program definition.
Next months smart holiday calculation: Here you can set the number of future months Astrow will make calculations for smart holiday.
Employee name format: Here you can define the name format in employee definition and all views (default LAST MIDDLE FIRST). This allows extra characters: space, comma, underscore, minus.
