To add a iT30/ iT300 GS/GT terminal, go to Communication - Terminal Manager and click .

You need to define first the general server (GS) and then the general terminal(s) (GT). The general server will be the Master of the general terminals. Leave the value (None) for parameter Master for the general server definition. Afterwards, when defining the general terminals, you can select it as master.
Define the following:
Terminal number: A number assigned by the application after save.
Name: Each terminal is described with a name (max. 32 characters) that is used as a reference in other functions.
Type: Select GS/GT.
Code: Internal identification code (optional).
Hardw.Addr./SlaveNo.: This parameter is used for communication and it had to be identical with the one attributed to the terminal. It is a number from 1 to 32.
Master name: Leave (None) if you define a general server or select the server if you define a general terminal.
TCP/IP type terminal: In case you define a general server, you need to check the option and fill in the IP address and IP port. Leave the option unchecked if you define a general terminal.
Active: If checked, the terminal is active and ready to be used.

Save the changes made and the terminal will be added.
To edit a GS/GT terminal, go to Communication - Terminal Manager, double-click on the terminal or select the terminal and click .
