PIP public was conceived for secretaries, directors or company owners to have an overview of the employees’ presence. PIP public does not permit operations.
To see PIP public in simple mode, you need to have the permission View PIP public. Go to View PIP:

To see PIP public in detailed mode, you need to have the permission View PIP public and a setting in Setting - Preferences - User interface PIP view mode - Detailed mode. Go to View PIP:

To view presence details in PIP public, you need the permissions View PIP public and View PIP details. This way you can see the daily presence situation of a person accessing the Daily View.
