Tab Auto - Link Automatic Day Programs and Define Automatic Bookings
Here you can assign an automatic day program to your default day program and also define automatic bookings. Having an auto DP assigned to the default day program, one employee can switch between day programs automatically, but he still has a default day program to be applied in some cases (when he is absent, for example, or when his presence is out of auto DP). This is done taking in consideration the first booking, GO. If the GO booking is generated within a period of time set in the AutoDP table, this table will be activated; otherwise the default day program is applied.
The default day program is considered the one you define in the first 2 tabs here, Core and Break/Round.
Tab Auto in New/Edit day program window in Astrow Web
Automatic Day program Assignment: Select the break group(s) from the drop-down menus if there are any defined. If not, you can create one by clicking . See Automatic Day Programs for more details.
You must also set the period during which this AutoDP will be applied. The default day program will be changed based on the booking time and the corresponding day program from those in the AutoDP table applied. However, if the first booking is generated outside the set period, the default day program will apply.
Automatic Booking Generation: This module enables you to generate an automatic booking if the booking of the selected type cannot be found within the corresponding period of time. If the booking is entered afterwards manually, the application will take that one.
Three items have to be filled out: the type of booking to be generated, the period of time to be checked for this booking and the time of the booking, e.g. generate an END booking at 17:00 if there is no booking between 17:00 and the end of the day.
Type of booking:
GO booking - the first booking of the day;
OUT booking - booking in the break or other;
IN booking - booking out of the break;
END booking - last booking of the day.
Subtract only half day from yearly holidays: Use this option to subtract only half a day of the leave from the yearly holidays.
