Each project has a start date and an end date, which can be changed. This can be set in definition. To edit, select the project, right-click and then click

If you change the project period, there might be bookings falling outside the new period. Please note they cannot be seen in reports and you will need to change them manually.

You can also set a life limit to each component or activity, or you can freeze the activity of a sub-tree. If the projects/components/activities are active within an interval, bookings are allowed (from the ST-25 terminal, Time Card or Team Manager) and calculated. Ultimately, booking is done per project activity. If you set inactive a sub-tree, all the components and activity in that sub-tree will be freezed. You can however see reports per components, activities and projects. Inactive project or sub-trees cannot be selected for bookings on the terminal or in views.

Bookings for inactive sub-trees will be displayed in reports only for their active period.
In case you delete the link (button 
), the whole sub-tree will be deleted from the project. Also, bookings will be subject for manual deletion and will not be displayed in reports.
