This module is used to define the different departments for each employee. Later on, these departments can be used to sort and search in the report module or to create filters.
Please note that departments are different than groups. If you don't need to have a differentiation between them, you can anytime import the departments in groups (see Employee groups - Add, Edit and Delete an Employee Group). Groups are used in all linked definitions, while departments are only for visualization.
