PIP Emergency Roll Call - General Settings
The emergency roll call is a special feature in Astrow to deal with emergencies. How it works:
1. Make sure you have a PIP Mobile and Roll Call license and add the permission Start Roll Call to all working protection responsible persons. They will start the roll call.
2. The activation of the roll call can be made either on Astrow Mobile or directly on the terminal. For activating the roll call on the ST-25 terminal, you must define a
roll call card in
Communication - Special Cards Manager - Add roll call.
3. Each employee must be assigned a company site. This is done in
Configuration - Employees - New employee - Company site. The definition is mandatory in the
Employees' definition.
Companies sites are physical locations (buildings) that will activate the corresponding terminals in case of an emergency. This will trigger an alert on all mobile applications and terminals linked to employees/users from a company site and will require their safety status. To define company sites, see further
Company Sites.
4. Users not linked to employees can be set a company site in Security - Users - New/Edit user - tab General.
The list of employees to be displayed when the roll call is started:
If you are one of the responsible persons to start the roll call, meaning that you have the permission
Start Roll Call,
the list with the group of teams and guests that will be displayed when the roll call is started
is set by the parameter in View terminal employees in Roll Call in Settings - System - tab System config. This parameter takes into consideration the bookings/entries on the terminal as follows:
-
NO – displays in Roll Call only the employees from the company sites where the Roll Call was started regardless of the terminal;
-
Only employees that booked – includes in Roll Call the employees that booked on the terminal in the last 24 hours regardless of the company site;
-
All employees on the terminal – display in Roll Call all employees linked to the terminal as defined in the
General or the
Bio distribution tab in
Employees' definition.
If you are not responsible to start the roll call, meaning that you don't have the permission
Start Roll Call, but you are responsible for your team(s) in case of an emergency, you can choose to display the list of the persons to be shown considering the company site.
This is set by the parameter View all my employees when Roll Call is started in Settings - Preferences - tab User. If set on YES, the MSS will see all their employees from all company sites (as defined in teams); otherwise they will see only those employees who are from the company sites where the roll call was started.
