Enable data collection for ESS: On YES, the employee with ESS permissions will be able to make data collection requests from Astrow Web and Mobile. On NO, the employee will not see the menu.
Enable data collection authorization: On YES, a manager must approve the data collection requests. On NO, the data will be entered directly by the employees without the manager's approval.
The manager can add data collection items in Team Manager at all times, regardless these settings.
If authorization is not required, go straight to Step 3.

Step 2: If the data collection entries from the terminal require authorization from a manager, you must make sure the group of employees that will use data collection is also set as a Data collection request group. This is done in Configuration - Groups - tab Employees - New/Edit mode.

Step 3: Go to Configuration - Counter Definition and add the counters to be used with data collection. You can use only counters type Count (C Counters).
