To add a new activity, go to Projects - Activities and click

. You can add a new activity here.

Adding a new activity in Astrow Web

Name: The name is mandatory.
Code: A code can be written to be used in reports/exports.
Alternative name: The alternative name will be displayed in the list of activities.
Quantity counter: Here you can link a C counter for the quantities of the activity defined in Configuration - Counter Definition. This is useful in production activities.

Time counter: Here you can link a T counter to quantify the time spent per activity. The T counter will be defined in Configuration - Counter Definition. This is useful in time activities, like consultancy.

Remember that Astrow uses the command CTRL+F2 to open the counters list:

To be able to link a T counter to the definition, the option Allow T counter to be used inside Project Activity from Settings - System - tab System config. must set to YES.

Description: Here you can write a detailed description of the activity.
Max. working hours: The maximum number of hours per day for an activity.
Automatic end booking after max. hours reached: Activate this option to add the end booking based on the maximum hours. The activity will be automatically ended when reaching the maximum number of hours if the end booking is forgotten. If the option is inactive and the activity open, it will add an automatic booking at midnight.
Automatic end booking at: Activate this option to add the end booking at the specified time. The activity will be automatically ended at the set hour if the end booking is forgotten. If the option is inactive and the activity open, it will add an automatic booking at midnight.
